Tiny Tentacle
"Always stay on the path. Danger!" That's what the silver fox reat on that old sign. Half hidden by the foilage. He smiled as staying on the path was exactly not what he planned to do. Since he remembered, he loved exploring the woods and today he wanted to explore an especially remote part of it. Careful and with soft steps did he walk through the bushes. Checking out the towering trees above him, he heard a metallic sound. Below his feet there where some kind of bars. Blocking a deep shaft in the ground. Curious he inspected the rusty metal. A claw tracing along the rods. It seemed like some kind of well. A few peebles fell through the bars. The sound of them hitting soft, muddy ground. Slowly he stood up again. No clue what this thing could be about. He just wanted to walk on when something wet touched his hindpaws and held him in place. Startled he tried to take the tentacle off his leg, when another shot from the hole and enveloped his arm. Instantly he felt cool and wet touches all across his body.
